Halle from Across the Hall in 2nd Grade is doing another one of her favorite linkies today. The topic - Gettin' Fit Favorites. I can totally pull this one off! If you can too, you should hang out with Halle today as well.
Warning: I might have a slight obsession with a certain brand.
I love this shoe. My feet and the Nike Pegasus have been friends for years. I can't fathom running in anything else.
I don't own this particular shirt, but I don't work out in shirts without swooshes. True story. Sorry Reebok and Adidas.
Yep, Nike shorts are a must too.
This is my water bottle. Noticing a pattern yet?
(I could have also included pictures of my Nike sports bra, Nike socks, Nike sunglasses, Nike hat...)

This is my newest running must-have and the only thing I wear that's missing a swoosh.
Okay, so if you didn't notice, Nike is my brand of choice. I should seriously get paid for all the endorsing I do. :)
Speaking of gettin' fit, I'm off to run a half-marathon with my best friend in Seattle this Saturday, and you can bet I'll be covered in swooshes. Fun times!

I see you are a Nike Loyalist! Thanks so much for linking up! I was looking forward to your posts because I know you have a passion for fitness!

Halle, Yep Nike through and through. Thanks again for the linky.
DeleteHmmm, someone has a crush on Nike, right? :)
ReplyDeleteSara
Sara, that's a fun way of putting it! :)
DeleteWho would have known that you like Nike so much?? :) And I do think they should be paying you for all the endorsements! Best of running to you and your friend this weekend!

Conversations in Literacy
Lori, they should definitely be paying me. Thanks for the well wishes!
DeleteI so admire, Tammy! I have tried to like running...but I just prefer other sports. I do like working out and feeling healthy though.

Teaching Little Miracles
Crystal, running isn't for everyone. Feeling healthy is just right though!
DeleteGood luck!

Christa, thank you. 13.1 miles in Seattle is definitely fun!
DeleteGood luck on the half-marathon!! You'll do great!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jennifer and Priscilla. Should be fun!
DeleteOnce I did the couch to 5K program and loved it, but somehow I just stopped. You have to make it a part of your life. I'm working on that part.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. My step-daughter bought me Nike barefoot sneakers and I LOVE them.
Kimberley
First in Maine
Kimberley, I don't think I could ever do barefoot shoes even if they were Nike! :)
DeleteI have always gone to Nike shoes, too! I've been trying out a different barefoot shoe, but I just don't feel like it gives me enough support. I'm going back to Nike!
ReplyDeleteJenny
Owl Things First
Jenny, once you fall in love with Nike, it's hard to run in anything else. :)
DeleteGood luck running your first half marathon! I also trained for a ran my first 1/2 this past April! It was the BEST feeling of accomplishment and the biggest rush I've ever felt! You will love it! I am ready to start training for another one, but believe me when I say that your body needs a little rest time between big training like that. I love that you are such a Nike loyalist.. I might be that way to LuluLemon..if only they made shoes haha! I am a Mizuno fan when it comes to my running shoes!

Ashley, thank you for the advice. I have really enjoyed 1/2 marathons. Double that mileage, and it doesn't sound appealing. :)
