A bit of classroom craftiness...
(I posted about this here)
A bit of running...
(My best friend and I ran the Seattle Rock and Roll 1/2 Marathon. She's an inspiration - lost 133 pounds and has kept it off. Visit her weight loss blog if you need to be inspired.)
A bit of reading...
(This isn't the only thing I read, but it's probably my favorite. Here's a post about it.)
A bit of traveling...
(I got to go here twice this summer. Sigh.)
A bit of conveyor belt sushi...
(Yum! As long as it's not raw, that is.)
A bit of shopping...
(I love a good skirt, and Woodburn Mall outside of Portland is great too.)
I'll be adding church camp and another trip to Seattle to my list before school starts. What have you been up to this summer? Link up with Vicky from Traditions, Laughter, and Happily Ever After and share your summer with us.
Tammy - yay it worked. Thanks for linking up. :o) Great job on the 1/2 - I've done only one and loved it but then while training for my 2nd got a stress fracture in my tibia. So I have turned to tri's. Thanks for joining in on the fun. :o)
ReplyDeleteVicky, my brother has gotten into tri's too. Kudos to you. I can't imagine such a thing. I'd rather run 13 miles any day.
DeleteCute skirts- love the one in the middle!

Jennifer, thanks. I like that one too. I wore it to church this morning.
DeleteSounds like a lovely relaxing summer.
ReplyDeleteWe just got back from Vancouver ~ shopping and visiting our son.
And today we're recovering from a huge party we threw. There's lots of leftover sushi:)

Laurie, you must not be far from Cannon Beach or Woodburn. I love both places. I enjoy Seattle to but not so much the baseball field there. :)
DeleteLooks like a great summer!! What beach is that?

Tales From a Traveling Teacher
Kelli, that would be Cannon Beach up in the northern part of Oregon. You need to visit at some point. Fly to Portland and drive for an hour and a half and you're there.
