My Own Words

Yesterday I was thankful that 8 months ago I began the year with the words, "You're full of greatness."  Here's why.  If you've been following my journey, you've probably picked up on the fact that this has been an extra challenging year.  It's left me with many frustrations and a lot of second guessing my abilities and choices from one day to the next.  It's been a year like no other.

One of my first graders gave me such a gift yesterday when she took my own words and handed them right back.

"Miss McMorrow, you are full of greatness."

(Go here to read a few posts about greatness.)

  3. I think you've done a great job of being positive in your posts and replies to my comments, but I did pick up on your challenges this year. I've had my own frustrations this year with all the new...had days I've come home and felt like crying. This is such a gift...those small moments when The Lord uses a child to tell you that you are doing just fine. Hang in there!

    1. Crystal, I know the crying feeling all too well. You're right though. I felt like God used this little one to give me an important gift.

    1. Ann, thank you for saying so. I'm glad my frustrations haven't affected my blog too much and that you've been able to find good things here. :)

  7. Sometimes the biggest challenges return the biggest rewards. Your kids are as lucky to have you as you are to have them. Enjoy the rest of your year with these special kiddos!
