That's a great way of putting it. Our older writers won't rise to the occasion if writing instruction is haphazard.Tammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18053983168084838303noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7605926763598675958.post-62374835239020605582015-06-09T08:19:34.292-07:002015-06-09T08:19:34.292-07:00Em, we're going to start this process this com...Em, we're going to start this process this coming year. Especially as they get older. I like how it all builds upon each skill, developing over time and this is so much easier if started at the youngest grades.
Lori
Conversations in LiteracyLorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14511344892381128298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7605926763598675958.post-13898190660391204952015-06-06T22:24:34.241-07:002015-06-06T22:24:34.241-07:00I completely agree!! And often another grade one teacher, who doesn't have her kids write daily, will remark on the great writing my kids do. It's not that I do anything special...it's just that writing is a daily habit.
Happy Saturday, Tammy!Barbarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16776494983428336686noreply@blogger.com
